Alright, so I started this blog 3 years ago and like my workout routine it didn't stick. However, here I am and I'm still fat, overweight, huge, tub of lard (pick one) seriously, I got on the scale earlier this week and I busted the 400 lb mark. I'm not interested in purchasing an industrial style scale. SO, I have finally decided to do something about it.
I had a buddy contact me a couple of weeks ago and tell me that he wanted to help me reach my weight loss goals. And honestly, that was the kick in the pants that I needed. So, we started meeting up this week, once on Monday and once on Thursday and basically I let him push me to my fat boy limits for 30 minutes each time. On Wednesday it literally took me 10 minutes to get up the courage to stand up off of the toilet because it hurt so bad every time I went from standing to sitting and vice versa. Seriously, my muscles were like "WTF? Dude?!?! You make us carry your fat @$$ around for 34 years and all of sudden you're just gonna pull this crap?" But I keep telling them, you're gonna be so happy that I did this!!
I also made a complete 180 on my eating habits this week. I figured if I'm going to work out this hard and hurt this much then I'm gonna quit putting junk in my body that is going to destroy all of the hard work that I'm doing. I totally ate grilled fish at least 3 times this week (I NEVER eat fish) and I actually really liked it. I've actually been pretty proud of myself for being able to switch my eating habits up and not feel like I want to eat my hand, but also not filling my body with all that nasty!
My children have their Easter basket candy sitting at the house and I'm so close to just trashing it all, but I don't want to start World War 3 in my house, so I'm ignoring it like it's a nerd and I'm a mean girl. So far it's working!
Anyway, I just thought I should let the blogosphere know that I'm back and I'm headed from Big Sexy to Real Sexy aka skinny, healthy & happy!!
